After-School Care That Goes Beyond the Basics

At Shoreline Learning Center, we’re proud to offer an after-school care program that feels less like “daycare” and more like a vibrant, enriching extension of your child’s school day. While our roots are in high-quality preschool and child care, our school-age program is designed specifically for older students who are ready to explore new interests, build confidence, and discover what they love.

We provide transportation and daily pickup from Deepwood Elementary, Bluebonnet Elementary, Joe Lee Johnson Elementary, Wells Branch Elementary, and IDEA Round Rock Tech, serving families in Austin, TX, Pflugerville, TX, and Round Rock, TX. Our goal is to make after-school care convenient for parents while offering an environment where kids look forward to coming every day.

A Program Built to Spark Curiosity and Growth

Our after-school program is structured to support your child academically, socially, and creatively. Kids can unwind, make friends, and explore new passions in a safe and supportive environment.

One of the highlights of our program is Mr. Zack’s Cooking Class, a hands-on life-skills cooking experience where children learn kitchen safety, food science, and how to create simple, delicious recipes. This class blends fun with real-world learning and is consistently a student favorite.

We also offer a STEM-focused LEGO Lab using the LEGO Education BricQ Motion Essential Kits, giving students the chance to experiment with engineering concepts, build moving creations, and strengthen problem-solving skills through interactive play.

For students who love staying active, one of our after-school teachers leads sports and recreational play, helping kids build teamwork, fitness, and healthy habits—all while having a great time.

In addition to our after-school care, we offer a dynamic summer program open to children from any school in the community. Our summer curriculum blends fun and learning through field trips, outdoor play, hands-on activities, and themed weekly adventures. It’s a great way for children to stay engaged, make friends, and continue learning outside of the classroom.
